The role

What you'll do

No drivers, no operation. You're the person who makes sure we always have qualified, reliable drivers ready to move freight.

This isn't HR. This is frontline recruiting. You're on the phone daily β€” sourcing candidates, screening for quality, and selling them on why Royal Blue is the right place to drive. You'll deal with no-shows, flaky applicants, and fierce competition from other carriers. And you'll still hit your numbers.

The best recruiters don't just fill positions β€” they build a reputation. Drivers talk. When your name comes up, it should mean "that person was straight with me, got me onboarded fast, and followed through."

Day to day

Responsibilities

Source and identify qualified drivers

Job boards, referrals, social media, direct outreach. You find drivers where they are and get them interested in working with us.

Make the calls that matter

Cold calls, follow-ups, re-engagement. You're on the phone daily, building a pipeline of qualified, reliable drivers.

Screen and qualify candidates

CDL verification, experience checks, safety records. You don't just fill seats β€” you find drivers who meet our standards.

Onboard new drivers smoothly

From application to first load, you own the process. Paperwork, orientation, and making sure they're set up for success.

Maintain driver relationships

Recruiting doesn't end at onboarding. You check in, address concerns, and keep drivers engaged so they stay long-term.
