What you'll do
You are the engine of the operation. Every load that moves, every driver that delivers on time, every broker who gets a straight answer — that's you.
Dispatching isn't about clicking buttons on a TMS. It's about managing chaos, anticipating problems before they happen, and keeping 15 moving pieces in sync while three people are calling you at the same time. You thrive in that environment.
You'll own a fleet of drivers, manage their loads from pickup to delivery, negotiate when necessary, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. When things go sideways — and they will — you don't freeze. You adapt, communicate, and resolve.

Responsibilities
Dispatch and manage active loads
You assign loads, optimize routes, and ensure every truck is moving efficiently. Downtime is your enemy.
Be the bridge between drivers and brokers
When a broker calls asking where their freight is, you have the answer. When a driver needs guidance, you provide it. Instantly.
Plan and optimize routes
Fuel stops, traffic, weather, HOS — you factor everything in. Every mile matters and every minute counts.
Manage pickup and delivery windows
Appointments don't move. You make sure drivers are on time, every time. If something slips, you communicate before anyone has to ask.
Document everything
Rate confirmations, delivery notes, driver instructions. If it's not written down, it didn't happen. Your records are airtight.
